Varmint Family

4-Sigma Varmint Family

The Lite Trainer Family took advantage of light weight bullets fired at low velocities to make shooting a very wide variety of firearms enjoyable. By retaining the light-weight characteristic, but changing the bullet design, handloaders can move into another largely unexplored area: ultra-high velocity.

Three design changes are of note: the bullets have an Ultra Low Drag (ULD) ogive; they have a unique double cavity hollow point; and they are encased in guilding metal jackets.
The family consists of two .30 caliber cousins: a 50 grain bullet with an open-tip-hollow-point exposed core, and a 60 grain fully jacketed hollow point bullet with a don’t-hurt-yourself sharp tip. Both have burnished MoS2 exteriors.
